SUB ROSA - THE SOCIETY DINNER

SUB ROSA –  THE SOCIETY DINNER

IN COLLABORATION WITH SUB ROSA & ADV AGENCY

Dating back from Greek mythology, the rose has come to stand for all that hides in the shadows, all that is clandestine – secrets.

The Latin phrase ‘Sub Rosa’ translates in English to ‘Under the Rose’ and refers to confidential happenings similar to the Chatham House Rule.

Seduced and inspired by the allure of secrecy, we developed an immersive dining experience, serving up plenty of playfully mysterious and elegantly edgy surprises.

“Feel free to be whomever you want to be, under the rose.” – Sub Rosa

The Pont des Arts Society celebrated its elite members with fine cuisine, wine pairing & performance dinner. For the occasion, the guests discovered the Miquel Barceló Collection in preview, paired with fine cuisine from the French Chef Escoffier.

PIERRE HERMÉ AND PONT DES ARTS LAUNCH

RITZ CARLTON HONG KONG

In 2015, Pont des Arts and Pierre Hermé Paris brought together their unique concepts and the French savoir-faire to make the best gift in Hong Kong. The ambition of the two brands has been to imagine the best association of their respective products in order to create a unique ‘French taste’ experience.

Heir to four generations of Alsatian bakery and pastry-making traditions, Pierre Hermé began his career at the age of 14 as an apprentice to Gaston Lenôtre. Famous in France, Japan and the United States, the man that Vogue Magazine called ‘the Picasso of Pastry’ revolutionised pastry making with regard to taste and modernity. Having “pleasure as his only guide”, Pierre Hermé was awarded the title of World’s Best Pastry Chef Award in late 2016.

Pont des Arts & Pierre Hermé are proud to offer a unique taste experience with this limited edition of macaron, chocolate and 40 years old XO Fine Champagne Cognac “Infinity” gift box.

The Pierre Hermé macarons and chocolate has been carefully selected to beautifully pair with the unique Pont des Arts Cognac. The notes of prune and honey that rise from this rare cognac are delightful compliment with dark chocolate, while milk chocolate and vanilla are ideal accompaniments to the fragrances of dried flowers like Violet and Jasmine of the Pont des Arts Cognac XO “Infinity”. This beautiful pairing brings to life a rich tasting experience.

The Baccarat Showroom in Hong Kong appeared to be the perfect location to celebrate the Pont des Arts & Baccarat unique collaboration. The nice cocktail held by the two brands was the occasion to introduce the new Pont des Arts wine and Baccarat glasses set to the 30 VIP guests attending.

The unique collaboration comprises two wines & glass sets, one white with the Meursault 2012 and one red with the Rive Gauche 2011 along with a set of Château Baccarat glasses. The refinement of the Château Baccarat glasses beautifully reveals the facets and nuances of Pont des Arts fine wines. These wine glasses will allow you to enjoy at best the complexity and notes of the Pont des Arts wines.
