Zao Wou-Ki 2011 Collection
THE COLLECTION
Given Zao Wou-Ki’s enormous body of magnificent artwork and his intrinsic link with both Eastern and Western cultures, artistic styles and influences, it was fitting to collaborate for a second collection with the great master for the 2011 vintage.
THE VINTAGE
This 2011 Collection showcases Zao Wou-Ki’s work from figurative to abstract sensibilities as you are taken on a journey through Zao Wou-Ki’s artistry through the years. One can follow the celebrated artist’s life through these works, noticing the influence of different cultures, from modern Western abstraction enriched by Chinese painting techniques, from his roots in China to his latest pieces in Paris.
A SHOWCASE
While celebrating the great winemaking collaborations developed in 2010, the 2011 Collection further develops the Pont des Arts concept with the introduction of two new highly regarded wine appellations : Meursault and Pommard 1er Cru. The 2011 vintage is characterised by fresh fruits and powerful tannins in Bordeaux, while the wines from Burgundy are of ample structure and persistence.
