Celebrating its love for Asian art, Pont des Arts was delighted to open the 2017  edition of Asia Now as official wine sponsor of the opening Collector’s brunch.

Art collectors from all around the world gathered in the courtyard of a stunning Parisian mansion and enjoyed Pont des Arts Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc 2012 and Rive Droite 2010 paired with a fine French cuisine buffet.

MoMa Taichung – Homage to Zao Wou-Ki

Taiwan

“Infinities of Zao Wou-Ki” exhibition at the MoMa Taichung.

This major exhibition takes place at the Asia University’s Museum of Modern Art and displays Zao Wou-Ki works from 1935 to 2009, representing the most complete set of works to date.

Mrs Francoise Marquet (Zao Wou-Ki’s wife) joined the VIP opening party on September 18th, along with Arthur de Villepin (founder of Pont des Arts) and Sotheby’s ambassadors.

The guests enjoyed a miscellaneous selection of Pont des Arts wines, going from Bordeaux to Burgundy, with a frisky Sauvignon Blanc 2011, followed by an elegant Nuits-Saint-Georges 2011 and a complex “Rive Droite” 2011.

Live performances and talks entertained the guests throughout the night.

The Flying Winemaker – Pont des Arts Masterclass

Pont des Arts teamed up with The Flying Winemaker Eddie McDougall (Australian winemaker and wine expert) and his team to share our common passion for fine wine with Hongkongers. Quality and authenticity are the  intrisinc values for both parties so gathering our forces could only make this Pont des Arts Masterclass unforgetable.

Our brand-ambassador was happy to lead the tasting at the Flying Winemaker’s HQ, first introducing our innovative concept, then four Pont des Arts wines. Our guests’ palates were taken on a journey through the best appellations of the Bordeaux and Burgundy terroirs, while enjoying a great food-pairing.

Pont des Arts  Champagne China Launch

The international recognition of the Champagne terroir results from the values of quality, authenticity and innovation that all “champenois” winemakers have been sharing for now centuries. Pont des Arts believes that such expertise, which is an integrated part of the French culture, deserves to be celebrated in the best way possible. Through an unique interactive project with the famous Champagne grower-producer Pierre Péters and the world-renowned artist Miquel Barceló,  Pont des Arts gave birth to two very Limited Edition Grand Cru Champagnes Blanc de Blancs.

On July 22^nd 2017, Pont des Arts had the pleasure to welcome its VIP guests in Beijing for the China launch of its first-ever Grand Cru Champagnes. For this very special occasion, a guided dinner leaded by our brand ambassadors introduced our guests to our new fine sparkling wines, who then enjoyed a gastronomic dinner paired with a selection of Pont des Arts wine from Bordeaux & Burgundy.

We were glad to share this special moment with our guests, and invite all Champagne lovers to have a taste of this new exquisite Pont des Arts experience.

Being the biggest wine fair in the world, Vinexpo gathers every year thousands of wine and spirits professionals and other associated business (importers, wholesalers, restauration, duty-free…). This unmissable encounter allows professionals from around the world to discover the new products, actors and trends of the current complex wine world.

Pont des Arts was thrilled to be part of the fair’s 2017 edition in Bordeaux, and to present its innovative concept at the crossing between the wine world and the art world. Our Brand ambassadors were glad to welcome Vinexpo wine lovers at the Pont des Arts booth, to offer them a glimpse of our refined wines from the best French appellations.

PONT DES ARTS & JOËL ROBUCHON DINNER

SHANGHAI

Renowned and appreciated worldwide for its quality, Pont des Arts believes that the French culinary art deserves to be celebrated through all its aspects. In this extent, we collaborated with the Grand Chef Joel Robuchon, and organized a VIP Dinner marrying his fine cuisine and our fine wines: the perfect match!

Our guests were invited at “L’Atelier”, a two Michelin stars restaurant by Joel Robuchon in Shanghai, to share a marvellous sensitive experience. While the delightful gastronomic menu was served to our guests, the Pont des Arts ambassadors successively described the characteristics and making process of some of our fine wines. Such a combination of refined mays took our VIP guests on a journey through the greatest French terroirs.

By bringing the French art de vivre to China, Pont des Arts reduced once again the cultural gap between our two rich cultures. To celebrate our shared values of quality, authenticity and will of discovery, we ended this beautiful dinner cheering around a glass of our 50 Years Old Armagnac “Beyond Life”.

PONT DES ARTS MASTERCLASS

BEIJING

Thibault Pontallier and our team China were delighted to hold a Pont des Arts Masterclass in Beijing, bringing up to Chinese art & wine lovers the very best of what these two mediums have to offer.

In a beautiful environment, Thibault led an exclusive tasting describing the characteristics of the selected Pont des Arts wines, fruits of the best French terroirs (Bordeaux and Burgundy). The outstanding food pairing added a toothsome touch to this unique event, taking it to an even higher dimension.

For this special occasion, our brand ambassadors opened an Armagnac 50 Years Old “beyond Life” and a Cognac XO 40 Years Old “Infinity”, two of the most ancient French liquors which are blends of the best eaux-de-vie from the Cognac and the Armagnac appellations.

ROSÉ REVOLUTION 2017

HONG KONG

For the second step of its 2017 edition, Rosé Revolution established in Hong Kong from May 24^th to 27^th. The corporate, trade and public events gathered over 20 Rosé pours from the world’s most iconic producing regions.

The culmination of the festival’s 7^th edition was the exceptional public event which took place at The Repulse Bay Hotel on June 27^th. More than 500 hundred wine lovers came under the shining sun to discover the actual greatest Rosés in an amazing venue.

Settled in the VIP section, the Pont des Arts team was glad to welcome the guests at their booth and to offer them a taste of our refined Chêne Bleu Rosé “Vieilles Vignes” 2016. This special occasion was a unique chance to purchase our very limited Rosé in Hong Kong (1500 bottles and 400 magnums worldwide).

The whole Pont des Arts team was enchanted to welcome its visitors during the Rosé Revolution events, and hopes that you enjoyed the Pont des Arts experience!
