YAN PEI-MING COLLECTION LAUNCH DINNERS – CHINA

Pont des Arts was thrilled to introduce its new collection in collaboration with the world-renowned winemaker Etienne de Montille and the brilliant artist, Yan Pei-Ming.

 Pont des Arts threw a series of 4 dinners and press lunches in Beijing, Shanghai and Dalian inviting only its VVIP guests and media partners to taste its limited edition new series of wine. For this special occasion, the Burgundian winemaker Etienne de Montille flew from France to attend the events and share insights about the newly released grand cru and premier cru wines as well as the friendship and tight collaboration between the Pont des Arts founders and himself.

Pont des Arts co-founder, Arthur de Villepin, introduced each premium new appellation and the painting selection – chosen with the artist himself – to match the characteristics of each wine. Mr Dominique de Villepin, Former Prime Minister of France, also attended the VIP dinner in Beijing Rosewood hotel as guest of honor. He shared a few words with the audience about his friend’s (Yan Pei-Ming) artistic technique and the monumental portrait of him created by the artist and chosen for the new Pomerol “Cuvee Speciale” 2015.

Guests were welcomed in a luxury environment provided by partner high-end hotels and private clubs and enjoyed a delicate wine and fine Chinese cuisine pairing.

Finally, Pont des Arts invited media partners to exclusive press lunches offering wine and food pairing to enhance the wines at best and introduce each wine in detail.
