THE COLLECTION
Pont des Arts’ fifth collection displays works from the world-renowned Chinese artist, Yan Pei-Ming. Launched in 2017, the lacquered wood casing beautifully displays the stylistically unique works of this singular artist. As you taste the wines, you are showcased with Yan Pei-Ming’s epic-sized pieces, at the cross-roads of the Western tradition of portrait painting with China’s cultural history.
THE VINTAGE
The 2014 vintage in Bordeaux offered delicate wines, with good fruit, freshness, structure and density. In Burgundy, despite vicious hailstorms which reduced the crop, the warm summer from Mid-August allowed the production of many excellent wines, combining minerality and fruit-intensity.
2015 in Bordeaux is considered a superb vintage, producing wines that are lush, silky textured and elegant; with fresh, fragrant fruit, soft power and concentration.
THE COLLABORATION
Pont des Arts incorporated to its new collection two new top-quality wines made in collaboration with one of Burgundy’s most revered winemakers, Etienne de Montille: a Chassagne-Montrachet – 1er Cru – Abbaye de Morgeot and a Corton Grand Cru Les Maréchaudes.
Moreover, Pont des Arts produced its first-ever Scotch whisky in tight collaboration with the iconic Glenglassaugh distillery: a very unique 41-Year-Old Scotch Single Malt.
